Software
IFS
In order to ensure the seamless integration of all products, Grintek Ewation has developed the IFS architecture which is built around three pillars: Equipment Servers, Service Providers and User Interfaces. All Grintek Ewation products, whether delivered in a stand-alone form, or integrated into a system, are provided with an Equipment Server which is used to gain access to the product in an ordered fashion. All Equipment Servers expose a very generic interface, which enables system interfacing to be done without the need to understand many different equipment APIs.
For clients who wish to interface to Grintek Ewation products, Grintek Ewation also provide a Software Development Kit (SDK), which can be used to quickly interface to the products.

ifs SPECTRUM SURVEILLANCE USER INTERFACE
The Spectrum Surveillance User Interface - commonly called the SSUI is used to enable operators to interact with Grintek Ewation's range of Direction Finders and Wide band Scanning receivers. The SSUI provides a feature rich man-machine interface which exploits the advanced functionality provided by these state of the art units. The following functions are integrated into this software:

Intercept signal detection, recordings and

This main scanning tab of the SSUI includes dual waterfall and FFT displays with configurable peak hold and fading functions to allow wide band searching for signals of interest and zoomed focus on target signals.
The lower zoomed waterfall/FFT display combination can be slaved to focus on a smaller segment of the main upper scan waterfall and FFT displays for detail measurements and analysis, or can also function independently to focus on non overlapping parts of the spectrum.
During mobile or homing mode operations this tab provides direction finding functions in real-time as a powerful aid assisting the vehicle driver to "home in" to an emitter.
The SSUI polar tab can function in 0 to 360 degree or ±180 degree homing modes. The measured signal bearing indicates where the signal originates from and the direction to which the vehicle driver should turn in order to drive to it.
The usual wide band and narrow band receiver controls, parameter measurement and tasking displays are included.
